Doctors have forgotten>

There is no direct punishment for breaking the Hippocratic oath in modern days. It can be said that malpractice is the same thing and it carries a wide range of punishments from legal action to civil penalties. In antiquity the punishment for breaking the Hippocratic oath could range from a penalty to losing the right to practice medicine. While there are no direct laws, doctors can still be held accountable through malpractice and other civil and criminal charges. They should be jailed period.
